In the district of Zurite, within the province of Anta, lies the Q’ente Q’eniyoc archaeological site. From these terraces, you get a marvelous view of the Jaquijahuana Valley, more commonly known as the Anta plains. These terraces are named this way because they are shaped like a hummingbird (picaflor). We have chosen this location due to its deep symbolism regarding the hummingbird—the messenger of the Hanan Pacha or the world above—and because the site’s unique acoustics provide the perfect environment to experience a healing sound bath with ancestral instruments.
